As we build our facilities and brand, we are seeking a seasoned Production Manager to lead our manufacturing initiatives and drive growth.

Position Summary

The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the chicken feed manufacturing process, from plant design to full operational readiness. This role requires hands-on experience in end-to-end feed production, capacity planning, quality control, and team management. The ideal candidate will also play a pivotal role in establishing initial sales channels and expanding the customer base. Additionally, they will be responsible for recruiting and building a competent operational team as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and construction of the chicken feed manufacturing facility.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality, cost-effective production.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Manage procurement of machinery, raw materials, and equipment.
• Establish quality control protocols and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and secure initial customers/buyers, building strong relationships with poultry farmers and distributors.
• Develop sales strategies and marketing efforts to penetrate the local market.
• Recruit, train, and manage operational staff, building a small, efficient team.
• Monitor production KPIs, costs, and efficiencies; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in feed manufacturing.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in chicken feed manufacturing or related poultry industry roles.
• Proven track record in establishing and managing feed production facilities, preferably from scratch.
• Strong understanding of feed formulation, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in Malaysia.
• Experience with facility design, equipment selection, and construction management.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
• Leadership skills with experience hiring, training, and managing operational teams.
• Good analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of project milestones.

Preferred Skills
