Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the daily operations of fertilizer production—including straight, mixture, and compaction processes—within the plant. Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand for various fertilizer products. Collaborate with departments such as procurement, logistics, and maintenance to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery.

Resource Management:
Optimize the use of manpower, machinery, and raw materials to maximize production efficiency and minimize operational costs. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to maintain appropriate stock levels.

Quality Control:
Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure all products comply with regulatory standards and customer specifications. Conduct routine quality checks and implement corrective measures when deviations are identified.Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and internal protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Perform regular safety audits and address potential hazards or risks through proactive measures.Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization to enhance productivity, reduce equipment downtime, and minimize material waste. Evaluate and integrate new technologies or methodologies where applicable.Maintain comprehensive and accurate production records and reports for management review. Analyze operational data to identify trends, assess performance, and highlight areas for continuous improvement.Liaise effectively with cross-functional teams—including production, maintenance, handling contractors, quality assurance, and sales—to coordinate activities and promptly resolve issues.Support the development of production staff through training initiatives and performance coaching. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and employee engagement.
