Provide overall leadership and manage a group of production employees including engineering team to achieve company goals and department KPI.
Work with functional teams to achieve common goals in terms of production output, cost, quality, on time delivery and work force requirements.
Supervise and oversee budgets, plans and programs to ensure the optimum utilisation of available equipment, space and labour force to attain plant-manufacturing objectives.
Optimization of processes and reduce manufacturing operations costs through innovative strategies.
Assure achievement of management and manufacturing objective through the proper selection, development, training and motivation of subordinates.
Continuously plan to improve work environment, methods, effectiveness & resource utilisation, and critically review and monitor operating results.
Responsible for implementing cost improvement programs through Lean Manufacturing techniques and drive successful business excellence programs for manufacturing.
Maintain operational excellence by executing TPM and 5S activities and implement/monitor Lean activities and mind-set.
Adhering to Corporate EHS guidelines, local EHS legislations and promoting accident free workplace.

Responsible to plan and manage the workload of the engineers across concurrent projects to ensure that all project objectives are met in a timely manner with high standards.
Ensure that all required reports, engineering and other documentation are completed in a timely manner.
Responsible for creating, modifying and revising manufacturing work instructions and process flow documentation.
Any other work/project assigned to you by your superior(s) from time to time.
Your Profile:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years related working experience in the manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated strong leadership skill in leading and coaching a team of employees.
An understanding of the health and safety aspects of a manufacturing environment, operational management, Lean and SAP, Six Sigma and ISO methodology, Engineering background
Excellent communication, numeracy and computer literacy skills.
Good people management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills
Being able to develop good working relationships and trust with various teams.
