The Production Manager will oversee and enhance production efficiency, ensuring quality, safety, and improvement initiatives while coordinating with multiple departments.
Responsibilities
Lead production teams to achieve excellence in efficiency and quality standards.
Monitor production output and efficiency.
Plan headcount and set performance targets.
Supervise, train, and support production staff.
Develop and track KPIs for production.
Ensure production schedules are met and orders completed on time.
Verify daily production records and reports.
Manage raw materials and WIP inventory for smooth workflow.
Investigate and resolve quality issues and non-conformities.
Drive continuous improvement and cost-efficiency initiatives.
Support ISO compliance and participate in audits.
Communicate with suppliers and sub-contractors.
Manage spare part ordering for machinery.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
At least 10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Manager specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operation or equivalent.
Working knowledge of lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Ability to work well in a team environment, handle a heavy workload, prioritize work, and meet assigned deadlines.
