PRODUCTION MANAGER

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Production Manager to join our dynamic team at By Chefiza Sdn Bhd. As our Production Manager, you will oversee and optimise manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality production. This is a full-time position based in Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement production plans and strategies to meet business objectives and customer demands.
2. Manage daily production activities, including resource allocation, workflow optimisation, and quality control.
3. Monitor and analyse production performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
4. Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations.
5. Identify and address production bottlenecks, and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
6. Maintain a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
7. Provide training and guidance to production team members, fostering continuous learning and improvement.
8. Report on production metrics and KPIs to senior management and contribute to strategic decision-making.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
2. Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, control methodologies, and lean manufacturing principles.
3. Proficient in interpreting production data to drive continuous improvement.
4. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
6. Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
7. Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
