Production Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Regularly update the Production Plan based on customer orders, demand forecasts, and available resources.
2. Ensure smooth, quality, and efficient production flow by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, ensuring timely completion of work orders, and minimizing downtime.
3. Optimize production output efficiency, minimize scraps, and minimize downtime.
4. Oversee production quality control in all processes.
5. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and analyzing production process bottlenecks, high scrap areas, and inefficiencies.
6. Monitor and control production KPI performance metrics.
7. Effectively manage production materials inventory, ensuring FIFO and conducting regular stock counts.
8. Ensure health and safety compliance by implementing safety protocols, conducting safety training, and promoting a culture of safety among the production team to maintain a safe working environment.
9. Provide leadership by coaching and supporting to ensure a motivated and skilled production team.
10. Ensure accurate record-keeping of production data, maintenance logs, safety inspections, and employee performance.
