We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead the daily operations and management of our production department. You will be responsible for executing production plans, optimizing processes, controlling costs, improving product quality and production efficiency, and leading the team to achieve the company's strategic goals.
Position Title: Production Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement production and material requirement plans based on sales orders and market forecasts to ensure timely, high-quality, and quantity-based completion of tasks.
Allocate production resources (personnel, equipment, materials, etc.) efficiently to ensure smooth operation of the production line.
Process Optimization & Efficiency Improvement:
Continuously analyze production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
Introduce and promote new technologies and processes to enhance automation and efficiency.
Quality Management:
Enforce the company’s quality management systems (e.g., ISO9001) to ensure products meet quality standards.
Monitor quality during production, address issues promptly, and drive root cause analysis with corrective/preventive actions.
Cost Control:
Develop and manage production budgets; control costs related to labor, material waste, and energy consumption.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
Safety & Environmental Compliance:
Oversee production site safety to ensure compliance with national and local safety regulations and prevent accidents.
Promote environmental protection measures and ensure production activities comply with environmental standards.
Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate the production team to enhance team capabilities and performance.
Foster a positive and productive team atmosphere to boost morale and team cohesion.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Collect and analyze production data (e.g., output, efficiency, yield, cost) and regularly report operational status to senior management.
Provide actionable insights and drive improvement based on data analysis.
Work closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, Sales, and other departments to ensure a smooth production supply chain.
What we're looking for
Education:
Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in production management within manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a team leadership role.
Experience in electronics, mechanical, or hardware manufacturing is an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong expertise in production planning, material control, quality management, and cost control.
Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, and other modern production management methodologies.
Knowledge of ISO9001 and occupational safety regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.

Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
High sense of responsibility, resilience under pressure, and a proactive work attitude.

Language Requirements:
Must be proficient in English, Malay & Mandarin is an added advantage.
