Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, drive productivity, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. Responsibilities include overseeing production planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution:

• Plan, organize, and control production schedules to meet demand forecasts
• Ensure optimal utilization of machinery, manpower, and materials
• Monitor production targets and take corrective actions as needed

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to resolve issues and reduce rework or rejections
• Implement SOPs and maintain ISO/industry compliance

People Management:

• Supervise and lead production supervisors, operators, and technicians
• Train, motivate, and develop team members for performance and safety
• Handle workforce planning, shift scheduling, and conflict resolution

Maintenance & Equipment Efficiency:

• Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Monitor machine uptime, efficiency (OEE), and implement productivity improvements

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with safety norms
• Conduct safety drills and participate in audits or inspections

Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing:

• Identify process improvement areas and lead lean initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering or related field
• 7–10 years in manufacturing, with at least 3 in a supervisory/managerial role
• Strong knowledge of production processes, resource planning, and ERP systems
• Familiarity with lean tools and continuous improvement techniques
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
