Job description

Set clear production goals, plans and strategies communicate to key personnel and ensure the goals are clearly understood and strategies are implemented in timely manner to meet product delivery with the quality specification.

Liaise with all parties to optimize the production records and checklist which include manpower management, materials, facilities, machineries and quality, delivery on time and to standard required.

People management, plan and monitor the production floor to meet the timely production and output to meet customer’s requirement.

Investigate issues, implement solutions and actions for the prevention of incidents related to products, processes and quality systems.

Liaise with all parties to continuously review the practices to optimize production efficiency. Responsible for supervising staff development, discipline and training needs for staff to improve the overall performance.

Organize production processes to ensure daily smooth running by closely monitoring the flow and requirement of the 4 (M) material, manpower, machine and method.

Resolve production issues and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth operations.

Prepare and manage production budgets, track costs, and ensure cost-effective production.

Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.

Lead, motivate, and develop production teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Maintain and enhance quality standards, ensuring all products meet regulatory requirements and company standards.

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including quality, warehouse supply chain, and R&D department, to ensure smooth production operations.

Other task assigned by the superior and management.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree /Diploma in the Traditional Medicine/ Health Supplement/ Pharmaceutical/ Manufacturing Industry, with minimum 5 years working experience as a production manager

Required language(s): Mandarin, Malay, English (We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Chinese client)

Good knowledge in quality management which including GMP, HALAL, safety standards in workplace

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Handy in people management

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interactive skills at various levels
