Job Description

This role requires a candidate with a mechanical or technical background who demonstrates proactive contribution and effective communication across stakeholder departments. A hands-on mentality and teamwork mindset are essential.

Tasks

Maintenance

• Set-up, adjustment, preventive, and corrective maintenance of production machines.
• Conduct root cause analysis for machine or process malfunctions and inform relevant engineers and supervisors.
• Perform repair and maintenance activities as per the maintenance plan.
• Implement machine improvements in consultation with supervisors.
• Adjust machine parameters within target settings to optimize processes.
• Manage spare parts inventory and inform about used parts for replacements.
• Assist external service providers during machine servicing.

Manufacturing

• Be fully trained and familiar with all machines and work steps to operate independently.
• Serve as the main contact for machine and process setup and support production staff during setup.
• Ensure proper documentation of machine and process data and monitor machine effectiveness.
• Follow cleanliness standards and actively participate in team dialogues.
• Support daily production activities and conduct quality checks.
• Document process data in machine logs and submit production data into MES/SAP systems.

Improvement

• Participate actively in TPM and 5S teams.
• Support improvements in machine performance, availability, and quality.
• Lead initiatives to reduce scrap and contribute to PDCA and idea management projects.

Occupational Safety / Environmental and Metal Safety

• Adhere to safety, accident prevention, and environmental regulations.
• Comply with PMMS and document precious metal processes.
• Perform special tasks as instructed and support machine relocation and process engineering activities.
