Job summary

Viq Apparel Sdn. Bhd. in Ipoh is seeking a production supervisor with 2–3 years of manufacturing experience to plan daily schedules, assign manpower, and oversee the end-to-end production flow from cutting to packing.

The role demands attention to quality, ability to work under pressure, and coordination across departments. Overtime may be required to meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery, maintain production records, and uphold safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Good manpower planning and leadership skills.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage tight production deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Able to coordinate effectively with different departments.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and arrange daily production schedule based on orders and delivery deadlines.
• Assign manpower and monitor workers at each production section.
• Supervise the overall production process from cutting → printing → sewing → finishing → packing.
• Monitor daily production output and ensure orders are completed on time.
• Check product quality and ensure products meet company standards before moving to the next process.
• Identify and solve production delays, defects, rework and manpower issues.
• Arrange overtime and manpower when required for urgent or tight-deadline orders.
• Monitor workers' productivity and ensure proper working procedures are followed.
• Maintain daily production records and update management on production status.
• Ensure the production area, machines and working environment are properly maintained.
