Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Production Manager to lead Factory Supervisors in delivering high-quality PCB assemblies on time, focusing on production efficiency, LEAN initiatives, and staff development.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage resources, ensure compliance with customer requirements and Plexus standards, and lead RCCA for defects, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum seven years of related experience; one or more years preferred.
• Technical expertise in PCB assembly processes including SMT, RoHS, and related quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute production schedules to meet KPIs and drive on-time delivery.
• Provide effective leadership to manufacturing teams and manage staffing and development.
• Plan and manage resources to maximize labor flexibility, productivity, and efficiency.
• Drive Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and Plexus standards, including RCCA for defects.
• Develop contingency plans for manufacturing issues and communicate improvements to management.
