Job summary

Johnson Controls in Shah Alam is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate department activities and ensure schedules, quality, and safety targets are met. You will drive 5S and EHS initiatives, train workers, and oversee production budgets while maintaining strong discipline and continuous improvement across the line.

The role requires an engineering degree with 3+ years in manufacturing, knowledge of air conditioning basics, and familiarity with ISO QMS/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of air conditioning systems.
• Production management skills and leadership ability.
• Understanding of ISO Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
• Quality control knowledge and experience.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and data entry.
• Process improvement skills and problem solving.
• Ability to supervise production operators.
• Location: Shah Alam

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities within the department to meet production schedules.
• Implement company policies and promote EHS and 5S practices.
• Lead and develop workers through training and coaching.
• Ensure safe working environment on the factory floor.
• Analyze line quality issues and organize corrective actions.
• Monitor data for production improvement and schedule adherence.
• Manage production budget and assist in performance appraisals.
• Ensure daily production output targets are met.
