Job summary

Copial Corporation Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a production and laboratory technician to support operations and quality testing. You will operate production machinery and perform lab tests on materials and finished products.

You will record data, monitor quality, maintain equipment, and follow safety SOPs. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to liaise with Mandarin-speaking partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in production operations and laboratory testing is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of quality control and testing procedures.
• Able to handle laboratory equipment and production machinery.
• Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime or weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to company procedures.
• Conduct laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process products and finished goods.
• Record and maintain accurate production and testing data.
• Monitor product quality and report any abnormalities or non-conformance issues.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory tools and production equipment.
• Follow safety regulations, SOPs and quality control standards at all times.
• Assist in troubleshooting production and testing issues when required.
• Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to achieve operational targets.
