Job summary

A leading company in the electronics manufacturing sector is seeking a Production Planner to oversee production schedules and resource allocation. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree with experience in production control and planning. This role involves coordinating between departments, preparing production reports, and managing raw material inventories efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in production control, planning, and QEMS audits.
  • Knowledge of Mandarin and Cantonese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the Production Schedule based on orders and resource availability.
  • Control raw material supply and prepare stock lists.
  • Issue job orders to departments and prepare production reports.

Job description

Confirm delivery date and verify availability of resources by referring to the ERP system or physical stock.

Create and maintain the Production Schedule based on incoming orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.

Plan daily production to ensure sufficient manpower and materials.

Issue and distribute job orders to relevant departments.

Prepare weekly production plans.

Control and monitor raw material supply.

Prepare monthly raw material stock lists and plan purchases accordingly.

Coordinate with other departments on lead times, scheduling, and raw material arrival dates.

Prepare relevant ISO documentation as required.

Coordinate with the Document Control Officer on QEMS issues.

Prepare timely reports on production and other performance indices.

Prepare weekly stock lists for production.

Compile other monthly documentation as instructed.

Perform other ad-hoc functions as required.

Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in any field.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in production control, planning, and QEMS audits.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Mandarin and Cantonese is an advantage.
