Kian Joo Can Factory is seeking a Production Executive to oversee the development and distribution of production schedules and ensure timely deliveries. This role involves coordinating with multiple departments and managing a team to achieve high-quality production goals. Job description

Develop and distributeproductionschedules and work orders to departments.

To ensure that production schedules are met and shipments to customers are completed on time.

Determine the work schedule based on customer orders and the availability of raw materials and production capacity.

Coordinate work with purchasing to ensure that production materials are available and adjust the schedule when necessary.

Coordinate with planning, purchasing, production and shipping to expedite product through the manufacturing organization.

Control production costs and identify, rectify and reduce waste within the production facilities and organizations.

Involve the suppliers in Supply Chain improvement exercises that creates shared value for both company and customers.

Attend and participate in all production and operational meetings.

Schedules and coordinates flow of work within or between departments

Reviews master production schedule and work orders, establishes priorities for specific customer orders, and revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment

Reschedules identical processes to eliminate duplicate machine setups

Distributes work orders to departments, denoting number, type, and proposed completion date of units to be produced

Procurement planning for production

Confers with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods received from methods or engineering departments

Maintains inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production

Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise production planning personnel of production delays

Communication

Communicate effectively with all department regarding all aspects of production.

Communicate effectively within the operations department for smooth running of day to day operation.

People Management

Assist the Production Manager to build a strong, motivated customer service team capable of consistently delivering high-quality products against aggressive production targets.

Assist the Customer Service Manager in management of people.

Participate to implement continuous improvement for the team.

Support Production Manager/ Operations Manager in initiative in developing safety, cost, quality and productivity improvements.

Uses process knowledge and skills to make improvements by Identifying area of process or machine that is causing inefficiencies to the production line whether on time loss, wrong method & process, increase cost, reducing quality, and recommend solution.

Learning & Development

Plan and attend training to continuously upskill yourself yearly.

SHE

Support to develop and participate in 5S program and Safety in the factory area.

Ensure safe operations of production facility.

Ensure plant compliance to all SHE related regulations and certifications.

Safety Protocol

Stop any observed unsafe acts, and obey facility safety rules and procedures.

Correct or report any observed safety hazards.

Support safety policies and programs.
