About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Executive to join our manufacturing team at Epsilon Medical Devices Sdn Bhd in Kamunting, Perak. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production operations and ensuring that our high-quality medical devices are manufactured efficiently and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of products: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

Responsible for the analysis of sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.

Analyze component availability to maintain production schedule and manage WIP inventory consistent with company goals.

Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.

Responsible for the management of inventory levels, schedules and availability of selected item, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules.

Receive and review Sales Orders against current requirements and work in process using the material Requirement Planning Report.

Release Purchase Requisitions for production material, floor stock items and all purchases to support customer’s orders.

Interface with manufacturing personnel, the Purchasing Department and Customer Service on material status and production planning issues.

Implements the existing production procedures and makes adjustments as necessary to produce products within specifications.

Ensure the production planning and control aspect of the orders received will meet delivery time.

Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling and control techniques

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and other technical documents

Proficient in the use of production management software and data analysis tools

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and leadership skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Relevant certification or diploma in production, manufacturing or a related field is preferred
