DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Training

  • To co-ordinate with the training department for internal training arranged for production.
  • To review and update training material related to production such as CCP, WI, SOP, SSOP and hygiene and sanitation.
  • To conduct training to new staffs or newly assigned PIC related to production records, inventory and non-inventory control.
  • To identify the training needs of workers and provide theory, practical and on-job training in terms of machine operation, process control and production practices.
  • To perform evaluation on training effectiveness, and ensure all records are ready and complete.

2. Production Safety

  • To study and review any possible risk in production, and propose measures for safety control to ensure workplace safety.
  • To conduct Risk Assessment on workplace safety at periodic basis.
  • To setup, review and update relevant documents related to workplace safety.
  • To handle and monitor any accident happen in production or during working hour, conduct CAPA for implementation and rectification.
  • To monitor inventory related to workplace safety inside production (e.g. safety signage, safety PPE and etc.).
  • To monitor and ensure all inspection and records related to workplace safety in production are performed and submitted on time.

3. Audits

  • To provide support for all audits including audits related to food safety & quality, workplace safety and social audits.
  • To ensure all relevant training records and reports related to audits are ready and complete.

4. Other responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE REQUIRED: -

  1. Diploma/ Bachelor of Food Technology, or any other related course.
  2. Knowledge in Food Safety (GMP, HACCP & Halal)
  3. Speak and write well in English & Malay.
  4. Basic user of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skill to work with various departments.
