You will work closely with Production Managers, QA, Engineering and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, resource optimization and timely delivery, while developing leadership capabilities within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising production operations and shop floor personnel.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820 is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to influence others.
• Proactive, result-oriented and capable of resolving operational challenges.
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate teams.

Ambu A/S is currently looking for a Production Executive to be based in Penang, Malaysia.

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, and leading production teams to achieve production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards. You will work closely with Production Managers, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Manage daily production operations, coordinate production staff and equipment, and ensure product quality, productivity, and profitability.
• Optimize the use of available resources, including manpower and equipment, to meet production schedules and operational goals.
• Hire, train, motivate, and supervise production employees while ensuring compliance with performance expectations and safety requirements.
• Analyse production issues and implement corrective actions to ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and timely product delivery.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, increase productivity, and reduce waste.
• Improve existing manufacturing processes through process optimization, employee development, and the adoption of best manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support operational excellence and business objectives.

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Have a minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Possess experience in supervising production operations and managing shop floor personnel.
• Have knowledge of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820, which will be considered an added advantage.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage and influence others.
• Are proactive, result-oriented, and capable of identifying and resolving operational challenges effectively.
• Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
