Job description

· Develop and implement production plans to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet established production specifications and schedules, including volume, cost, wastage targets, and quality standards.

· Monitor production activity and analyze production data to ensure the timely flow of materials to meet production requirements.

· Prepare work orders for production or purchase requests based on production schedules.

· Plan and purchase components/raw materials to ensure their smooth flow and supply to production.

· Interface with engineering and other supporting functions to resolve production issues.

· Maintain efficiency and discipline within the workforce by monitoring absenteeism, tardiness, and adherence to company rules and regulations to achieve high standards of workmanship.

· Ensure safety regulations, GMP, and housekeeping standards are maintained at a high level within the department through team involvement.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes and procedures.

Required Skills:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Production/Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and control techniques.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
