Job Title: Production Executive
1. To organize resources and activities required to produce pharmaceutical products in order to keep the smoothness of the operation and deliver quality products in a timely manner.
2. To lead the production team to raise quality standards, improve productivity, shorten cycle times, and lower production costs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all production batches are manufactured in compliance with manufacturing instructions, procedures, and quality specifications.
- Coordinate with supply chain personnel to plan, schedule, and control production manpower, cycle times, and equipment to meet production schedules with measurable performance and efficiency.
- Adhere to production golden rules and ensure availability of materials, equipment, and documentation before starting production.
- Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards in production areas.
- Work with the production team to meet production goals and communicate performance expectations as set by management.
- Assist in ensuring engineering and maintenance systems keep machinery and tools in good working order; coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Immediately stop production and inform superiors if any abnormality or deviation is detected that could impact product quality or efficacy.
- Plan, organize, and ensure production resources are used within budget.
- Supervise and support shop floor staff on operational activities.
- Ensure staff are trained and capable of performing their duties accurately and precisely.
- Establish, review, and improve standard operating procedures.
- Collect and analyze data to identify process improvements and root causes of issues.
- Prepare User Requirement Specifications (URS), and conduct IQ/OQ/PQ and Process Validation as needed.
- Implement approved process or production changes and monitor outcomes.
- Reduce unplanned deviations and focus on right-first-time quality.
- Conduct self-inspections for cGMP compliance, aiming for measurable performance and efficiency.
- Participate in and lead meetings, including cross-functional ones.
- Manage and review batch manufacturing records.
- Report departmental issues, activities, and achievements to the manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science with 3+ years in production or quality control in manufacturing.
- Diploma in Engineering with 5+ years in supervisory or executive roles in production or quality control.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare technical reports and perform analytical and problem-solving tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
