Job summary

A manufacturing company in Alor Merah, Kedah is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production lines and maintain stock records. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in a similar environment or be a fresh graduate with relevant internship experience. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of working experience in a glove factory or any manufacturing environment with some exposure.
• Fresh graduates with strong internship exposure will also be considered.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production lines: output, quality, downtime.
• Keep track of daily in-process stocks and accumulated stocks.
• Arrange proper storage and segregation of different glove types (e.g. 1st grade, 2nd grade and scrap).
• Maintain accurate production floor stock records using logbooks or digital systems.
• Assist in stocktake exercises, discrepancy investigation, and reconciliation of material usage.
• Generate daily/weekly stock movement reports for production and warehouse teams.
• Work closely with the Production Supervisor, Packing/Warehouse team, and Quality Control to ensure smooth stock flow.
• Escalate stock shortages, overstocking, or issues immediately to relevant departments.
• Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
