Job summary

Elite Material (Penang) Sdn Bhd (EMC) is seeking a Production Engineer to monitor daily production, drive volume targets, and coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Planning teams in Penang. A Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering disciplines and proficiency in Chinese and English are required.

Candidates with PCB experience and around two years in technical roles will be considered, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English; Mandarin communication is required.
• Candidates with PCB experience or around two years in Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing or other technical roles are welcome; training will be provided to develop PCB knowledge.
• Industry experience in Consumer Electronics Manufacturing is described in the company overview.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production and achieve production volume targets.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Track production output, efficiency, yield, and downtime.
• Analyse production data and report performance to management.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams.
• Follow up on production issues and improve productivity.
• Familiar with quality management tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA).
