Job description

This position is located at Lot 764, Bidor Industrial Estate, 35500 Bidor, Perak. Please check the travel distance before confirming your application for the position.

Objective

To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the glove manufacturing process by monitoring production activities, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new technologies and drive process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Perform regular maintenance and calibration of production equipment to ensure consistent performance.
  • Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
  • Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and related documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Willing to work in Bidor, Perak.
  • Flexible to work in shifts and respond to call-outs for production line breakdowns.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt to new challenges.
