Job summary

Leoch Battery (M) Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam is seeking a Production Supervisor to supervise and coordinate production staff to meet daily targets, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

You will conduct regular inspections, address production issues, train team members, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance and QA to improve processes and ensure proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to meet daily production targets.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance.
• Identify and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to improve processes and resolve technical problems.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, including employee skill matric, production performance metrics, inventory levels, and equipment status.
• Ensure proper documentation of production activities, including compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop new battery products and enhancement to existing products.
• Address technical challenges and implement innovative solutions to improve battery performance and efficiency.
• Conduct testing and validation to ensure products meet industry standards and to meet customer expectation.
• Work closely with R&D, production, quality assurance and other relevant department to ensure product integration before mass productions.
• Prepare detailed technical document, product specification, report and presentation.
• Work together with team members to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality, environmental and safety standards.
