Job summary

Akashi Kikai Industry (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to optimize manufacturing processes, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvements to meet quality, productivity, and cost targets.

You will monitor and improve processes for stable production, identify root causes of casting issues, optimize parameters to reduce defects, support new model trials and mass production, and collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and other teams to implement

Job description

Responsible for ensuring smooth operations by optimizing processes, solving production issues, and driving continuous improvements to achieve quality, productivity, and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

Monitor and improve processes to ensure stable production performance

Troubleshoot casting-related issues and identify root causes

Optimize process parameters to improve product quality and reduce defects

Support new model trials, process development, and mass production activities

Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and teams to resolve process issues

Drive Kaizen and continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and reduce production costs

Other duties assigned by Head of Department from time to time
