Responsibilities

• Test product suitability and calculate output.
• Develop mould and cutter designs.
• Set up new production processes and improve existing methods.
• Handle quality issues in production.
• Select and develop new machinery for production.

Skills

Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, DraftSight, AutoCad, SolidWorks)

Fluency in Malay and English (both communication & writing)

Job description

Responsibilities

• Testing to check the suitability of the products
• Calculation of Output (from allocated material): Study and get the maximum quality of output for the costing purpose.
• Development of Mould & Cutter:
  • Design
  • Drawing
  • Liaise with mould/cutter maker for design, costing & quality issue.
  • Inspection of new mould/cutter prior hand over to production supervisor.
• Production Process:
  • Setup new production method and process
  • Preparation of Production Sheet
  • Mould setting method
  • Improve the current production method and process
• Quality Affairs:
  • To handle and get solution when production team has quality issue
  • Preparation of process flow chart
  • Preparation of report and form which is required by customer
• Machinery:
  • Involvement in selecting and develop new machine
  • Ensure the machines are used and maintained in correct method
  • Modify and Improve the machines to achieve best production performance
• Any other tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.

Authority

• Inspection of new cutter

Qualification Requirement

• Education: Degree holder, preferably in the courses relevant to engineering.
• Good in computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, DraftSight, AutoCad & SolidWorks).
• Good command and fluent in languages of Malay & English (both communication & writing).
• Know printing process is advantages.
• Highly organized.
