Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
- Identify and address both anticipated and unexpected production issues.
- Maintain and optimize production schedules to enhance labor, machine, and material usage.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all production activities adhere to GMP and SIRIM standards.
- Coordinate with farm, purchase, and store to facilitate smooth operations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of machines and CPPC areas at the end of each shift.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and evaluate workers.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to workers for continuous improvement.
Production Planning and Coordination:
- Assist the CPPC Manager in managing production schedules.
- Complete packaging orders on time, ensuring accuracy and defect-free products.
- Ensure proper consumption of order components.
Production Administrative:
- Test production flow, e.g., include post-harvest information in the system.
- Collect and generate data from farm for ERP system input for Phase 2 setup and implementation.
- Understand operations flow in CPPC/production/farm to match with system or discuss with MIS Manager, PIC, and related parties for process changes to ensure smooth transition and implementation.
- Train new users for the ERP system as needed.
- Provide technical support to ERP system users across departments.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with business processes in the ERP system.
- Assist in implementing new ERP systems and future upgrades.
- Maintain records of manual and process documentation accessible to MIS, billing, farm, and production teams.
- Work with departments to ensure linkage between warehouse, purchasing, CPPC, Genting, billing, and production.
Create invoices and billing materials for customers.
Ensure customer accounts, services, and pricing are correctly set up and billed as per contracts.
Maintain data integrity in billing systems and minimize rework.
Coordinate with merchandisers, teams, buyers, and logistics regarding returns and quality issues, reporting back to management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- At least 3 years of experience in the food production sector.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- High level of organization and prioritization skills, with delegation abilities.
- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively to achieve goals.
- Proven accuracy and efficiency in data entry and troubleshooting.
- High self-motivation.
- Willing to work at Cameron Highlands, Bertam Valley.
