About the role

Join MTD Industries Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturing company, as a full-time Production Coordinator in Taman Desa Cemerlang, Johor. In this essential role, you will play a vital part in coordinating and optimising the production processes to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and business objectives
• Liaise with various departments, including procurement, production, and quality control, to monitor and optimise the flow of materials and information
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and issues, ensuring the smooth running of operations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on production performance and KPIs

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a production coordination or planning role within the manufacturing industry
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in using production planning and scheduling software, as well as Microsoft Office applications
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Industrial Engineering or Operations Management
