About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Print Idea Sdn. Bhd. in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a full-time Production Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the efficient production of our high-quality print & signages materials.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely delivery of projects.
2. Liaise with various departments, such as sales, design, and logistics, to ensure seamless workflow and coordination.
3. Monitor production progress and identify and resolve any bottlenecks or issues.
4. Maintain accurate inventory records and provide regular updates on stock levels.
5. Collaborate with the production team to optimise processes and improve efficiency.
6. Assist in the planning and execution of special projects and events.
7. Assign tasks to production teams based on workload and skill sets.
8. Work closely with production teams to ensure finished signage meets company and client specifications.
9. Create and track work orders, ensuring all necessary materials, files, and approvals are in place before production begins.
10. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure required materials are available for production without delays.
11. Monitor project timelines and make adjustments to accommodate rush jobs or delays.
12. Improve production efficiency and minimize waste to control costs.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a production coordination or planning role, preferably in the printing advertising industry.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in using production planning and inventory management software.
• Familiarity with print production processes and quality control procedures.
• Able to work well in a team and demonstrate a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
