Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production/Assembler technician for a cleanroom environment in Selangor. The role requires basic qualification and cleanroom experience, with duties including reading drawings, assembling components, and performing quality checks.

The candidate will operate production equipment, log data, and maintain strict EHS standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring shift work, overtime, and weekend coverage as

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent technical qualification required.
• Experience in a cleanroom or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Attention to detail to identify defects and maintain quality.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks in a cleanroom.
• Willingness to wear full PPE throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends and public holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or repair product assemblies following work orders and drawings.
• Perform manufacturing processes such as bending, tacking, welding, tweaking, leak testing, and assembly.
• Operate production equipment and test/measurement tools safely and effectively.
• Verify incoming parts for completeness and inspect for defects before assembly.
• Record production data and complete required manufacturing documentation.
• Clean and maintain equipment and workstations to uphold cleanroom standards.
• Follow cleanroom protocols, gowning, contamination control, and material handling guidelines.
• Adhere to EHS requirements with PPE and safe, organized work practices.
• Support continuous improvement, 5S activities, and related production tasks as directed.

Responsibility

• Perform manufacturing processes such as bending, tacking, welding, tweaking, leak testing, and component assembly in accordance with approved specifications.

• Operate production equipment, test fixtures, electronic measuring instruments, and leak detection equipment safely and effectively.

• Verify incoming parts and materials to ensure completeness and inspect for defects before assembly.

• Record production data accurately and complete all required manufacturing documentation.

• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and workstations to maintain cleanroom compliance.

• Adhere strictly to cleanroom protocols, including proper gowning procedures, contamination control practices, and material handling requirements.

• Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements by using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, 5S activities, and other production-related assignments as directed by the supervisor.
