Job summary

United Malayan Flour is seeking a general labor worker to support daily production on the shop floor. You will operate and monitor basic machinery, assist with loading and unloading materials, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

No prior experience is required; training will be provided. A UPSR/PMR or equivalent qualification is acceptable, and teamwork and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform general labor tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as directed.
• Basic understanding of machine operation principles and willingness to learn specific equipment.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality control throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Carry out basic quality inspections on products to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished goods.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in accordance with company regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve daily production targets.
• Report any machinery faults or quality issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow work instructions and established SOPs.
