Job Description

1. Operate the extruding line according to the production plan and approved formulation to meet daily targets.
2. Execute operational processes to ensure quality production in compliance with specifications agreed with the QC department.
3. Accurately record necessary information in relevant reports.
4. Report any deviations in the process to relevant personnel.
5. Conduct monthly and annual stock takes.
6. Maintain manufacturing facilities in good working condition to prevent downtime.
7. Support the preparation and requisition of equipment and spare parts.
8. Perform routine maintenance as scheduled and as per work orders, using appropriate equipment.
9. Assist in calibrating equipment according to schedule.
10. Continuously review and improve operating processes for efficiency, effectiveness, and resource utilization.
11. Adjust machines for different types of feed to prevent production disruptions.
12. Adhere to regulations and standards such as HACCP, GMP, and machinery requirements.
13. Reduce feed shrinkage during production.
14. Implement productivity improvement activities and corrective actions, aiming to reduce process rejects.
15. Minimize rejected feed from extrusion to mixed feed per shift.
16. Perform cleaning of designated areas as scheduled.
17. Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to work in shifts.
