Job summary

A woodworking company in Klang City, Malaysia, is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and monitor woodworking machinery. Job description

Operate and monitor woodworking machinery (cutting, pressing, trimming, sanding).

Perform veneer lamination, gluing, and surface finishing processes.

Prepare, load, and handle wood panels and veneer sheets according to production needs.

Inspect materials and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.

Assist in machine setup, calibration, and minor maintenance.

Follow daily production schedules and meet output targets.

Maintain workplace cleanliness and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Report any machine faults or irregularities to supervisors immediately.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM or equivalent; technical certificates in manufacturing/wood technology is an advantage.

Experience in woodworking or veneer lamination process preferred.

Fresh graduates or candidates with no experience are welcome (training provided).

Physically fit to handle production tasks and operate machinery.

Basic knowledge of measurement tools and production safety.
