Managing Simic product engineering area in Back-end Subcon
Job Description
In your new role, you will:
- Manage the Simic product engineering area in Back-end Subcon, including:
- Taking ownership of product/package yield and quality, and driving continuous improvement.
- Acting as the interface for engineering topics to support IFX product engineering in Unisem Chengdu.
- Being the first contact for product engineering topics and escalations by subcon.
Perform in-depth analysis of product (Design/FE), assembly, and test-related issues, providing feedback for continuous improvement. Be familiar with data analysis tools and capable of deep analysis reflecting actual production performance.Drive and coordinate improvement activities across FE/Assembly/Test/Customer, possessing knowledge of FE fab/assembly processes and testing. Identify root causes of issues encountered during production.Manage lot release and deviation processes to ensure shipped products meet specifications.Participate in New Product Ramp team activities, managing safe product launches, enabling new subcon processes (technical, supply chain, IT), and supporting product changes/transfers with training.Collaborate with stakeholders (planning, quality, subcons) to ensure product health meets IFX requirements regarding yield, quality, cycle time, and delivery.Manage test-related documentation, including review and update of control plans, test procedures, PCNs, ECNs, and quality systems. Oversee test data transfer from subcon to EBS.Handle FAR activities independently, including root cause analysis and implementing improvements in subcon.Contribute to IFX design/change reviews, providing insights on key learnings and improvements for new products.Your Profile
You are best equipped if you have:
- Over 7 years of experience in engineering within the semiconductor industry.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools for real-time production data analysis and performance assessment.
- Understanding of FE/assembly processes for root cause analysis of production issues.
- Experience with Final Test equipment, processes, and methodologies.
- Knowledge of test systems and programming (Visual ATE, UNIX, C++, SAP) and functional interfaces.
- Ability to interface with PE, TDE, production logistics, planning, quality management, and subcons.
- Program and project management skills, with leadership experience.
- Customer and service-oriented mindset.
