Job description

Mission Details

  1. Coordinate SAP Safety Data Sheet and label generation with local R&D, Commercial, Customer Service, Production and Corporate PSR for all locally produced products to meet domestic as well as international customers’ legislative requirements.
  2. Review draft Safety Data Sheet of finished products before publishing to ensure information declared is in line with internal confidentiality policy.
  3. Coordinate generation of declaration letter/certificate of compliance in response to customers’ enquiries.
  4. Maintain SDS database for ACRM finished product.
  5. Support new chemical notifications and product registrations to ensure domestic and global marketability of ACRM finished product.
  6. Take reasonable care for health and safety of himself and of other persons, to cooperate with superior, to wear or use personal protective equipment provided as appropriate and to comply health and safety instruction as stipulated under Section 24 OSHA 1994 and undertake the following loss control responsibilities:
    1. Identify the potential hazards, gains and the possible improvement.
    2. Report the HSEQ near-misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to superior or HSE personnel.
    3. Report the HSEQ incident, accidents to superior or HSE personnel.
    4. Compliant with the policies, legal regulations, Arkema requirements, rules and procedures of one's sector applying to HSEQ.

Required Profile

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or other science disciplines with 3 years of relevant experience in product safety/regulatory affairs or related area.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse groups at all technical levels such as customer service, plant personnel, R&D, customers, consultants, etc.
  3. Strong organizational skill, able to focus on details.
  4. Proficiency in English to deal with multi-region regulations; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
