Product Staff Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for managing the product life cycle for LED products (with/without built-in IC). Knowledge and technical know-how on IC will be an added advantage.
2. Handle product yield data, analyze yield data, set yield targets, and forecast yield.
3. Oversee product status and be involved early in R&D new release products to ensure no manufacturing or production issues.
4. Collaborate with Process Engineering, Chip Change, and Production teams on yield improvement activities to achieve yield targets.
5. Update and revise product BOM, set up new product series, and manage product standards, flow charts, failure catalogues, and PFMEA.
6. Participate and support low-complexity projects or change activities, such as chip changes and new derivative products.
7. Act as the contact point for customer requirements changes or add-ons, such as biasing or test condition modifications.
8. Drive and participate in productivity improvement projects.
9. Manage PVDB static changes, including review and approval, and test program updates.
10. Monitor static distribution, optimize static specifications to prevent failures, and detect abnormalities.
11. Handle FBA/AFBA maverick procedures, maverick lot dispositions, and drive improvements related to rejects, invalids, or process and chip issues.
12. Lead or support internal and external quality issues, including product and material traceability, risk assessments, and shipment halts.
13. Coordinate annual reliability monitoring submissions.
