Founded locally in year 2014, AMD Solutions is a steadfastly growing company, specialized in developing and distributing medical diagnostics devices across Malaysia. Due to expansion, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team!
In dept knowledge in 3 main disciplines in pathology such as Biochemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology for continuous product and business development to serve the market gaps.
Responsibilities
- Identify, expand, and monitor potential markets, new markets and be abreast of market trends and data including competitor’s information.
- Find a niche market in penetrating of a novel assay that can be defined by its own unique, preferences and specialty.
- Develop KOL for all related discipline in MOH, Hospital, JKN, NIH, IMR & MKAK.
- Answering tender spec and conducting CME for all medical products distributed by the Company.
- Plan, direct, strategize general activities of the sales team such as customer visits, follow-ups with sales, product complaint handling, structural organization of sales teams in terms of assigned areas and/or products etc.
- Work closely with sales team in terms of training and project management in order to achieve targets and bring in revenue.
- Responsible for branding, market expansion, achieving sales targets and strategic sales/marketing/business development planning, including conducting market research and competitor analysis, existing and emerging sales opportunities etc.
- Carry out procurement activities. Ensure that products purchased based on defined procedures – prepare requisitions, issue purchase order, monitor purchase expenses, forecast required quantity, ensure high quality and timeliness of delivery.
- Source and interview vendors, negotiate contract and terms relating to price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations and analyze invoices to ensure accuracy and quality of goods received.
- Manage supply base, monitor, and track inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive, make purchases when needed. Ensure procurements are organized and scheduled in a timely manner.
- Manage the company’s social media platforms including updating of company website.
Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Science, Biology or other life science discipline or its equivalent.
- At least 2 years of working experience in marketing/business development position in the medical device or pharmaceutical distribution industry.
- Must be proficient in Mandarin as need to interact with business partners from China.
- Solid leadership and management skills, good business ethics.
- Willing to work at HQ located at Kota Damansara, PJ.
