Bukku is a well-funded and fast-growing software company that offers the most-loved cloud accounting software, currently used by over 10,000 SMEs in the country.

We are seeking a suitable candidate to support our sales efforts by handling inbound sales calls, responding to email inquiries, and conducting online Zoom product tours. This role requires both technical knowledge and strong communication skills. As a Product Specialist, you will bridge the gap between product knowledge and customer needs, ensuring potential clients understand the value Bukku provides to their businesses.

Responsibilities

  1. Respond to inbound sales inquiries via calls, emails, and live chat.
  2. Conduct online Zoom sessions to give product walkthroughs and answer customer questions.
  3. Develop a thorough understanding of Bukku’s features and functionalities to effectively present solutions.
  4. Collaborate with sales and product teams to refine sales pitches and enhance customer experience.
  5. Identify customer pain points and demonstrate how Bukku addresses their challenges.
  6. Gather customer feedback and share insights with the product team for future improvements.
  7. Support sales conversions by following up with leads and nurturing potential clients.
  8. Occasionally participate in outbound efforts to reach new markets and engage strategic clients.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Accounting knowledge is essential (Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  2. At least 2 years of experience in accounting, sales, pre-sales, or customer success roles related to accounting or finance software.
  3. Experience with cloud accounting software is a strong advantage.
  4. Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn software applications and digital tools.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Malay, and Chinese.
  6. Strong presentation and demo skills, with confidence in live customer interactions.
  7. Logical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively address customer issues.
  8. A proactive, self-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
