What's the role?

As the Head of BI Frontend Solutions, you will be part of the Global SAP Business Intelligence (BI) Team, focused on HILTI’s frontend offering. You will be responsible for one of the biggest SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementations in the world (8,000 unique users & 60,000 story views daily) as well as having the opportunity to shape, build-up, and roll out SAP Datasphere as HILTI’s next-generation Data Warehouse/Fabric solution, forming the foundation of HILTI’s BI strategy of the future.

You will play an active role in driving the adoption of analytics into the reporting & decision-making processes across HILTI’s organization by working closely with key stakeholders to ensure easy access to data and support in creating analytical dashboards and business planning solutions.

What does the role involve?

• Manage & develop the BI Frontend team, including hiring, onboarding, and continuous development.
• Collaborate with the business to understand requirements and how BI Frontend solutions can meet those needs.
• Develop a BI vision and create a product roadmap for BI frontend to achieve that vision.
• Initiate, prioritize, and execute projects related to BI Frontend solutions, including exploration, implementation, and lifecycle projects.
• Manage operational processes to ensure stable BI Frontend operations.
• Oversee team capacity, prioritize backlogs, and manage vendor relationships and consultants.

What you need is:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), or equivalent; a master’s degree is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience with SAP BI products (BW, SAC, SAC Planning, Datasphere).
• An entrepreneurial and team-oriented mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and interest in technology.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
