Job description

What's the role?

You will be part of the Global Cyber Risk, Control & Assurance team and take end-to-end ownership of all aspects of IT & Cyber Risk Management at Hilti. As a product owner, your role is to provide thought leadership to infrastructure teams, application teams, and decision makers. This is a versatile and important role in our Line of Defense 2, covering all risk aspects of IT, OT, and IoT.

What does the role involve?

You identify and assess threats, translating them into relevant risk scenarios, providing transparency to risk owners and stakeholders. You propose risk mitigation actions aligned with our cyber risk appetite and manage them in our GRC tool, which you will own. You are responsible for maturing the cyber risk, control, and process framework. Conduct proactive risk assessments of business areas, platforms, processes, and third parties. Collaborate with cyber risk officers and liaise with all 3 Lines of Defense. Train internal stakeholders on IT & cyber risk management best practices. Raise risks to relevant owners and produce metrics and reports for different audiences. Maintain a positive, critical, and solution-oriented mindset.

What you need is:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, cybersecurity, risk management, or related discipline; Master’s degree is an advantage
  • 5+ years of practical experience in IT & cyber risk management
  • Subject matter expertise in risk governance, identification, analysis, assessment, mitigation, and reporting
  • Knowledge of frameworks like ISO, NIST, ISF SoGP, and regulations such as NIS2, CRA, GDPR, AI Act
  • Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or relevant equivalents
