Are you ready to lead the transformation of digital lending in one of the world's leading banks? We're looking for a Lending Product Owner to join our strategic team aimed at simplifying, standardising, and digitising our platforms to accelerate business growth and improve the client experience.

About the Role: As part of the Lending Workstream, you'll lead the charge in developing and delivering a new, innovative lending platform with a background in COBOL. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll drive product development, digital journey design, and commercialization strategy - all while ensuring best-in-class client outcomes and efficient, scalable operations.

What You'll Do:

1. Liaise with developers to handle a COBOL to Java transformation project.
2. Define and own the end-to-end product vision and roadmap for lending capabilities.
3. Lead Agile squads to deliver on key Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
4. Build, manage, and prioritize the product backlog to drive measurable business outcomes.
5. Partner with cross-functional teams - Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk - to ensure smooth delivery.
6. Drive commercialization and monetization efforts with in-market teams.
7. Track and optimize product performance using analytics and client insights.
8. Ensure all regulatory, compliance, and governance standards are met.

What You Bring:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 7-10+ years in Retail Banking or Financial Services, with deep domain expertise in Lending and Collections.
3. Must have prior experience working with COBOL.
4. Proven experience in product ownership, agile delivery, and technology collaboration.
5. Strong knowledge of platforms like RLS, MARCIS, CACS and financial standards (IAS 39, IFRS 9).
6. Experience managing end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
7. Analytical mindset with the ability to measure success and optimize for performance.
8. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
