Job Summary :
Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information. Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
Company total sales by product category:
- Achieve monthly sales targets.
- Liaise with sales teams to ensure target delivery.
- Set and manage budgets for the recruitment department and related activities, with ongoing reevaluation.
- Meet regularly with HQ PL and management to discuss the effectiveness of products and activities, adjusting strategies accordingly.
Mid-High end sales by category:
- Enhance growth in the mid-high segment through better product strategies and creativity.
- Develop packages to encourage dealers, partners, and sales personnel to boost mid-high segment sales.
Gross Margin (B2 after monthly CN):
- Manage and control product margins to meet target goals.
- Monitor and react promptly to ensure sales are aligned with GP buffers. Review monthly product margin practices and suggest improvements.
Sales Forecast Accuracy:
- Control product alignment with sales forecast commitments.
- Regularly review and adjust with sales teams to ensure sales are achievable within GP buffers.
- Review and improve monthly product margin practices and processes.
Product Marketing, Advertising & Promotion:
- Liaise with brand marketing or sales channels to develop effective or creative ideas to boost sales targets.
- Set annual A&P budgets aligned with HQ directives to enhance brand reputation.
- Develop ad-hoc and seasonal activities to ensure product targets are met, with aligned target setting.
Job Requirements:
- Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or Master's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese, and other languages.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience.
- Preferably specialized in Marketing/Business Development or related fields.
