SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Staff Manufacturing Engineer cum Supervisor has responsibility and leads the manufacturing of a product group, including overseeing daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly requirements. He/She in the organisation aligns activities and resources to create and achieve shipment and revenue goals by partnering with functions and other groups within the company. He/She needs to ensure the members are in full compliance with product, process and workplace safety and environment, driving quality improvement, providing premier customer service, developing a technically qualified work workforce, reducing operating costs, inventories and lead time through continuous improvements.
Responsibilities
Day to day Operations:
Supervise a group of Engineers & Technicians to attain a high level of customer service and effective operations to meet revenue goals and targets.
Supervise and developing staff in a manner that will facilitate high-performance in line with standards of leadership.
Instilling and maintaining a sense of urgency and customer focus within team.
Prioritizing production in line with customer service requirements and revenue goals.
Ensuring safety policies, procedures and programs are implemented throughout Manufacturing.
Developing and maintaining a team-based approach within Manufacturing.
Ensuring results are maintained and displayed a timely basis.
Project Management:
Organise and lead a small team of project engineers and technicians to support the introduction of new products into operations, as well as coordinate and drive transfers and migration of existing products from other sites. This also includes both in-house and outsourced development of modules until release to mass production.
Participate to ensure implementation and securing approval for all projects per the PLC guidelines and process, together with the Sending Project Manager/Leader.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
A thorough understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes, assembly and production methods.
A thorough understanding of production planning, scheduling, purchasing, and inventory control.
Excellent knowledge of ERP systems, including MRP logic and transactions and be able to convert SAP data into useful informat
Ability to spot critical process issues quickly.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Engineering.
8+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of ERP systems (prefer SAP).
Excellent PC skills, especially Excel.
