About the role

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the Group Consumer Banking team in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the development and marketing of the bank's retail broking and investment lending products.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and manage the bank's retail broking and investment lending product portfolio
2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new product opportunities and enhance existing offerings
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and launch new products
4. Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimise the product mix
5. Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the bank's retail broking and investment lending products
6. Ensure products comply with relevant regulations and industry standards
7. Provide training and support to the sales team to build their product knowledge and capabilities

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the retail banking or financial services industry
2. Strong understanding of the retail broking and investment lending landscape, including market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
4. Proven track record in developing and launching successful financial products
5. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
6. Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate customer insights into product enhancements
7. Proficient in the use of data analysis tools and project management software
