A leading healthcare company is seeking a Product Manager to drive the development of traditional Chinese medicine consumer products. You will oversee product conceptualization, market research, and supplier coordination to ensure quality and timely delivery. An ideal candidate should have a relevant degree, experience in product management, and fluency in multiple languages, including Mandarin. - Responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and developing traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) consumer products.
- Research market trends, customer needs, and clinic requirements to plan seasonal, themed, or problem-solving products.
- Coordinate with suppliers/OEMs for product sampling, modifications, packaging, and production timelines to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Oversee product naming, packaging design, and content creation to align with company branding and market appeal.
- Collaborate with marketing team to create product launch plans, promotional campaigns, and sales initiatives.
- Guide frontline staff with sales scripts and techniques to boost clinic conversions.
- Plan cross-channel promotions.
- Track sales data and customer feedback to optimize bestsellers and phase out underperforming SKUs.
- Identify and manage high-quality suppliers, ensuring delivery timelines, product consistency, and cost efficiency.
- Set pricing strategies balancing affordability and profit margins.
- Monitor stock levels, production schedules, and logistics to prevent stockouts or overstock.
- Work with operations and marketing teams to implement sales strategies.
- Conduct staff training on product features and promotion techniques.
- Gather feedback to improve products and packaging.
- Set sales targets and benchmarks for each product.
- Prepare sales performance reports and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Track KPIs such as profit margin, repurchase rate, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Dietetics, Biotech, Chinese Medicine, or related fields.
- Proven experience in product management within health, wellness, or TCM sectors preferred.
- Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malay is advantageous.
