Job summary

The Program Manager - Product Management within the EISG COE Product Management organization, responsible for driving strategic, cross-functional programs that strengthen product competitiveness, accelerate business growth, improve product management effectiveness, and enhance the technical capabilities of the Product Management organization.

This role acts as a strategic program leader and catalyst for execution, working closely with Product Management, Sales, Account Management, Engineering, R&D, Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders to translate business strategies into measurable programs and outcomes.

The role will lead high-impact initiatives including sales and promotional programs, New Product Introduction (NPI) optimization, product management operational excellence, product portfolio optimization, product strategy and planning, and Product Manager capability development.

The successful candidate should possess strong business acumen, technical understanding, program management expertise, and the ability to influence across functions without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Program Leadership
• Design, lead and manage strategic, cross-functional programs, Sales and promotional program aligned with EISG business and product management strategies.
• Develop structured promotional frameworks, campaign mechanisms, product positioning, value propositions, and sales activation plans.
• Coordinate with Product Managers, Sales, Marketing, and order fulfilment to ensure effective execution of program and promotional initiatives.
• Establish program governance, operating mechanisms, review cadence, and performance tracking.
• Identify program risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and opportunities, and proactively drive resolution.
• Provide senior management with regular visibility on program progress, business impact, risks, and recommendations.
• Training lead
• Lead multiple product, technical, commercial, and sales enablement training programs for Sales and Channel Account Management teams.
• Develop training strategies and curricula to improve understanding of products, technologies, applications, customer value propositions, and competitive positioning.
• Partner with Product Managers and technical experts to develop training content, workshops, product demonstrations, and enablement materials.
• Measure training effectiveness through assessments, field adoption, sales performance, and feedback.
• Identify knowledge gaps and continuously enhance training programs to support evolving products, technologies, and market requirements.
• Product Management Operational Excellence
• Lead initiatives to optimize and continuously improve Product Management operations (including NPIs) across EISG.
• Develop standardized processes, frameworks, tools, dashboards, and operating models to improve Product Manager effectiveness.
• Identify inefficiencies, duplication, process gaps, and organizational pain points and drive sustainable improvements.
• Establish best practices for product planning, product reviews, portfolio management, business cases, pricing, forecasting, launch management, and product performance tracking.
• Improve the quality, consistency, and efficiency of Product Management deliverables and decision-making.
• Drive data-driven product management practices through appropriate business intelligence, analytics, and performance dashboards.
• Promote automation, digital tools, and scalable processes where they can improve productivity and decision quality.
• Product Manager Technical Capability Development
• Lead programs to increase the technical expertise and business competency of Product Managers.
• Develop structured technical capability-building programs covering products, technologies, applications, customer use cases, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Partner with Engineering, R&D, Application Engineering, and subject matter experts to develop technical learning paths.
• Establish Product Manager competency models and identify capability gaps across the organization.
• Develop mentoring, technical workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, certification programs, and hands-on learning opportunities.
• Promote continuous learning and technical knowledge sharing across the Product Management community.
• Product Strategy & Business Planning
• Support and/or lead product strategy development and strategic planning across EISG product portfolios by partnership with product planning team
• Facilitate product portfolio reviews and identify opportunities for portfolio expansion, optimization, consolidation, or rationalization.
• Translate market and customer insights into actionable product and business strategies.
• Support annual and multi-year strategic planning processes.
• Track strategic initiatives against business objectives and ensure execution remains aligned with organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
• Typically 10+ years of relevant experience in product management, program management, business management, sales enablement, technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional strategic programs in a technology, engineering, manufacturing, or B2B environment.
• Strong understanding of product management principles, product lifecycle management, NPI, commercialization, and portfolio management.
• Demonstrated experience working closely with Sales, Account Management, Engineering, R&D, and other cross-functional organizations.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand and communicate complex technologies and product architectures.
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering training or capability-building programs.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience using data and business insights to drive decisions and program outcomes.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct reporting authority.
