Job summary

Aonic is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of a full suite drone solution, translating business needs into actionable plans and ensuring delivery aligned with company objectives.

You will collaborate with software and hardware engineers, QA, and cross-functional teams to own the product roadmap, write PRDs, drive agile sprint cycles, and balance field insights from occasional customer visits to optimize user workflows and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related or product field.
• 3–5 years of experience in product management within a software or modern technology environment.
• Proven experience managing software development cycles involving web and mobile applications.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and manage the product roadmap in collaboration with the Head of Software and cross-functional teams.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable tasks for development teams.
• Occasionally accompany the commercial team on field visits to gain first-hand insight into customer needs and market trends.
• Capable of using AI tools to generate required UI/UX ideation and fine-tuning.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking for timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to align goals, feasibility, and timelines.
• Conduct product reviews, identify risks, and propose corrective actions.
• Monitor product metrics and user feedback to improve quality and UX.
• Prepare PRD as requirements are gathered and sign-off with stakeholders.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead and oversee the development and delivery of a full suite drone solution. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving product vision, translating business needs into actionable development plans, and ensuring successful execution in alignment with company objectives.

This position requires a balance of strategic thinking, cross‑functional coordination, and practical project management skills. The Product Manager will work closely with software and hardware engineers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and manage the product roadmap in collaboration with the Head of Software and cross‑functional teams.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable tasks for development teams.
• Occasionally accompany the commercial team on field visits to gain first‑hand insight into customer needs, market challenges, trends, and demands, enabling a deeper understanding of user workflows to inform product design; must be comfortable working outdoors in hot conditions.
• Capable of using AI tools to generate required UI/UX as ideation and manually fine‑tuning as required.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking to ensure timely and quality delivery of product releases.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to align business goals, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines.
• Conduct product reviews, identify potential risks or issues, and propose corrective actions.
• Monitor key product metrics and user feedback to continuously improve product quality and user experience.
• Prepare PRD as requirements are gathered and ensure stakeholders to sign‑off once finalised.
• Ensure compliance with organisational standards, processes, and best practices in product and project management.

Requirements

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology‑related or product field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Management or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product management or related roles within a software or modern technology environment.
• Proven experience managing software development cycles involving web and mobile applications.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on quality and deadlines.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross‑functional coordination and stakeholder management.

Good to Have

• Technical background or understanding of software development processes, APIs, and system integration.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Plane, GitHub Projects, Jira.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and user‑centric design.
• Knowledge in data analysis or product performance metrics.
