Job summary

A leading company in the retail sector seeks a proactive individual to support the Product Manager in tasks related to product and brand management. This role involves ensuring stock availability, collaborating with suppliers, and analyzing sales trends. Ideal candidates will possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related field, with at least one year of relevant experience, showcasing strong communication and time management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in purchasing or retail industry preferred.
• Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.

To ensure that outlets have sufficient stocks / maintain smooth flow of merchandise planning.

To communicate with suppliers & partners on any issues that may arise.

To maintain good relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking new ones.

Work closely with other departments during planning of new range of products.

Recognise and analyse sales patterns as well as future trends and consumer buying patterns.

Propose good ideas for product promotions and sales strategies.

Job Requirements:

Candidate(s) must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related field or equivalent.

Preferably minimum 1 year experience in purchasing (or related) field or retail industry, however, interested individuals are encouraged to apply.

Good time management skills, must be able to meet work deadlines.

Must have basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.

Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage to communicate with Mandarin-speaking vendors.
