ON Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Product Technician (Cost and Quality) to join the PSG Product Engineering team.

You will own cost reduction, scrap and quality dashboards, and develop data-driven tools to support decision-making in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes data extraction, transformation, and loading for dashboard development, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and contributing to models that identify improvement opportunities in cost and

Formación

• Diploma in Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or an equivalent field.
• 1–2 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Advanced programming skills and experience using statistical software such as Excel, Minitab, DataPower, or Exensio.
• Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, and Python is an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Own and sustain the Product Engineering team’s cost reduction, scrap, and quality dashboards and analysis tools.
• Extract, transform, and load data required to develop new dashboards and analysis tools.
• Support product owners in making data-driven decisions by identifying high-impact focus areas and prioritizing improvement efforts accordingly.
• Collaborate with the Product Engineering team to develop new models and algorithms that identify improvement opportunities in cost, scrap, and quality performance.
• Support report automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency, consistency, and timeliness.

• Advanced programming skills and experience using statistical software such as Excel, Minitab, DataPower, or Exensio.
• Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, and Python is an added advantage.
